Dave’s Killer Bread Foundation Employer Workshop

Employers, having trouble finding workforce? The Humboldt 2nd Chance Program (H2CP) may provide the answer. The Dave’s Killer Bread Foundation is coming to Humboldt County on January 11 to share the secrets of their success- which includes hiring ex-offenders. The foundation was invited to join the local effort because the company’s co-founder and 30 percent of their employees are ex-offenders. After rapid growth and success, the company started the foundation to encourage and help employers successfully employ individuals with criminal backgrounds. DKBF will share evidenced based hiring and onboarding practices, uniform and effective training processes and more. Attendees will also learn about wage subsidies that are available as employers train and on-board their new employees. No registration required.
