Day of Caring Coastal Cleanup Work Day

Arcata Marsh and Wildlife Sanctuary

Join the United Way of the Wine Country, Northcoast Environmental Center and the City of Arcata for a volunteer work day at the Arcata Marsh and Wildlife Sanctuary. Meet at 9 a.m. at the Marsh Interpretive Center parking lot on South G Street and help remove spartina and other non-native plants from the Marsh ecosystem. At noon, come to Sequoia Park in Eureka for a barbecue lunch courtesy of the United Way. Wear work clothes and closed-toe shoes or boots. Gloves, tools and beverages will be provided.
