Deafheaven

Kate Buchanan Room

Formed in San Francisco, California, the band has released three studio albums including the critical smash New Bermuda. Vocalist George Clark says that he came up with the idea of “New Bermuda” to describe a new destination in life, a nebulous point of arrival, and an unknown future where things get swallowed up and dragged into darkness. The band has received a coveted Best New Music at Pitchfork, the Best Metal Album per Rolling Stone, and a 9/10 star review from Decibel Magazine. Deafheaven have spent the last few years touring extensively nationally and around the world with shows in Australia, Asia, Europe and Canada with festival appearances at Pitchfork, Bonnaroo, FYF Fest, SXSW, ATP Iceland, amongst others.

The Creepers will open the show.

“Deafheaven’s music at its best represents a brilliant collision of beauty and despair.” – Pitchfork
