Join us on Wednesday December14th (earlier this month due to holidays) for the monthly HBMS meeting with Richard Tehan! We’ll be meeting in-person at the Humboldt Unitarian Universalist Fellowship. Title: Drug discovery and chemical ecology investigations of Cordyceps and related fungi
Synopsis: This presentation will give an overview of some of the most potent and transformative drugs derived from the fungal Kingdom and some of the ways fungi are uniquely interesting from a chemical perspective. The latter portion of this presentation will focus on ongoing cutting edge research on bioactive metabolites from Cordyceps and related fungi.
