🎃 Dink or Treat Pickleball Tournament 🏓

We are excited to host the second annual Dink or Treat Pickleball Tournament on October 31 & November 1, 2026, at the Arcata Community Center!

Come spend Halloween weekend on the courts with a fun mix of competitive pickleball, costumes, and community.

Costumes are encouraged, but not required! Players and spectators will be able to vote for their favorite costume in each division, with costume winners receiving awards.

Saturday, October 31 — Mixed Doubles
3.0 Under 65 — Morning
3.0 Over 65 — Morning
3.5 Under 65 — Afternoon
3.5 Over 65 — Afternoon
Sunday, November 1 — Women’s Doubles

Players must be at least 12 years old to participate.

🎯 Tournament Format
Each division will begin with round robin play, followed by a seeded single-elimination bracket.
Round robin games are played to 11, win by 1, with a 15-minute time limit. Bracket games are played to 11, win by 2.
All games are self-officiated, with completed scores reported to the tournament scoring table.
The tournament will follow the official USA Pickleball rules unless otherwise noted.

Paddles are not provided, so bring your own paddle. Nets and balls will be provided.

📝 Registration
$50 per team — fee covers both players.
You must have your partner selected before registering. The City will not form teams or match players with partners.
Skill divisions are self-assigned and honor-based. Players rated above 3.5 should not register for this tournament. Teams must register in the division corresponding to the higher-rated player’s skill level.

Registration closes Thursday, October 29, 2026, at the end of the day.

Space is limited! Waitlists will be available once divisions fill, and day-of registration will only be available if space remains.
