District Attorney Debate
The Humboldt Center for Constitutional Rights (HumRights) is teaming up with local media outlets to present the May 8, 2014 District Attorney Debate on the HSU campus. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m., with questions starting at 7 p.m. The LoCo Outpost’s Hank Sims, the NCJ’s Thaddeus Greenson, Times-Standard’s Will Houston and the HSU Lumberjack’s Israel Lefrak will question the candidates on Constitutional Rights issues. Topics may include the Board of Supervisor’s anti-free speech and camping ordinance, issues of unlawful search and seizure and other relevant topics to our community. The event is free to the community and will be broadcast live on KHUM. HumRights is an Arcata-based nonprofit committed to bringing positive social justice to Humboldt County through civil liberties advocacy and education.
