With a diverse array of musical influences, Pressure approaches the decks with reggae sensibilities in one hand and punk rock ethos in the other. Drawing upon wide-ranging backgrounds in global culture, his mixes are a high energy fusion of ancient musical traditions with the modern language of hip-hop, dancehall, cumbia and electronic dance music. Named Humboldt County’s Best Club DJ 2016 by the North Cosat Journal. Over the years he’s made warmly recieved appearences at festivals such as Reggae On The River, Northern Nights and Gaia. Artists he’s opened for include Talib Kweli, Iamsu, Balkan Beat Box, Walshy Fire of Major Lazer, Delhi 2 Dublin, Del The Funky Homosapian, The Skatalites, The English Beat, Mickey Avalon, Dirt Nasty, Yellowman, and Anthony B including backing Gift Of Gab and Baby Bash.
