Dolbeer Steam Donkey Days
Fort Humboldt State Historic Park
California State Parks invites the public to commemorate its 150th anniversary at the annual Dolbeer Steam Donkey Days, with steam train rides, lumberjack contests, an 1850s/60s tent encampment, black powder demonstrations, 19th century games, food, music and more! This free event takes place on Saturday, April 26th and Sunday, April 27th. Living history activities will take place on Saturday only. Steam trains will run both Saturday and Sunday. Event hours are 10:00am to 4:30pm. Thank you to all of our partners: Timber Heritage, Clarke Historical Museum, Humboldt State University,Teen Challenge of Eureka, The Wiyot Tribe, Moonstone Quilters and National Park Service. Fort Humboldt State Historic Park is located at 3431 Fort Avenue (directly across from Marie Calendars restaurant on the 101 highway.)
