“Don’t Sweat the Technique”
HSU alum Audrey McCombs traces the web of musical influences on 20th century American popular music, particularly on songs by Duke Ellington and Kayne West, in a lecture for the general public on Monday February 9 at 8 p.m. in HSU Music Building A, Room 130. There is no admission charge. McCombs is a 2012 HSU graduate with a degree in Music Education. She pursued her Masters at the University of Bristol in England, where she won several brass band concerts.
