Drag Me to the Clarke

Clarke Historical Museum

In celebration of Gay Pride Month, join us at the Clarke Historical Museum for an evening of fantabulous and glamorous drag performances by five local drag queens, kings, and monsters!

Learn about Humboldt’s Queer history through mini-exhibits, including a pop-up display in the Emmerson/Victorian Room that will tell the story of drag in the Victorian Era by looking at three drag queens and three drag kings from that time, and a special exhibit on Two-Spirits on loan from the Wiyot Cultural Center. There will also be living histories, photos, and costumes on display, courtesy of our performers.

There will be complimentary snacks and a no-host bar featuring wine (red, white, and sparkling) and plenty of Pink Pony Punch, along with non-alcoholic options. Doors and the bar will open at 6:30.
