‘Drawn to Birds’
Humboldt Bay National Wildlife Refuge
Meet at the Richard J. Guadagno Headquarters and Visitor Center, 1020 Ranch Road in Loleta, enjoy a leisurely guided walk and then return to the Visitor Center to learn an easy way to draw birds. Louise Bacon-Ogden has loved birds since childhood. She relocated to Humboldt in 1990 to open Strictly for the Birds in Eureka. After retiring in 2004, she has been able to spend more time watching birds and drawing. She also has time to give classes and lectures spreading the joy of birds and nature! This free workshop is limited to 15 students, 12 years and up. All materials will be provided. Bring snacks, water and binoculars or borrow a pair at the Visitor Center.
