The Natural History Museum Cal Poly presents a talk, Drifters of Wigi: The Tiny Life Forms That Keep Our Bay Thriving. Join Lorena Dominguez, a Biology student with Cal Poly Humboldt and the North Coast Environmental Center to explore how Plankton, a tiny drifting organism plays a big role in the ocean. Learn about the importance of Citizen Science projects that help monitor and protect our bay. 1242 G St., Arcata, Friday, May. 30 from 6:30- 7:30 p.m. Admission is free. Donations are welcome.
