Dune Ecosystem Restoration
Help restore the Lanphere Dunes Unit of the Humboldt Bay National Wildlife Refuge. The Dune Ecosystem Restoration Team (DERT) will be removing invasive annual grasses from the Lanphere foredunes. Meet at Pacific Union School at 3001 Janes Road in Arcata to carpool to the protected site. Gloves, tools and snacks will be provided. Please wear closed-toed shoes and bring drinking water.
