Ecology of Mill Creek Hike in King Range National Conservation Area

Join Friends of the Lost Coast & BLM for this exploration of the Mill Creek Forest in King Range National Conservation Area on Saturday, May 30, from 10am to 2pm. An Area of Critical Environmental Concern, the 950-acre tract is part of King Range Wilderness and highlights old-growth Douglas fir forest, a beautiful tributary to the lower Mattole River, and trails showcasing a diverse array of native plants. The hike is led by native plant experts Cheryl Lisin, Veronica Yates, and Otter Anderson, plus BLM Ranger, Kacie Hallahan. Space is limited to 15 participants. Email info@lostcoast.org to RSVP.
