Edible & Medicinal Plants Hike
Join Sanctuary Forest on Saturday, May 14 for the Edible & Medicinal Plants Hike. Local herbalist Michele Palazzo will lead hikers through the forest along the Mattole River and over the ridge, stopping to discuss the edible and medicinal properties of a variety of plants. This hike is Easy-to-Moderate, and covers 1.5 miles of even terrain. Please meet at 10 a.m. at the Restoration Forestry gate (first right after Whitethorn School, 16851 Briceland-Thorn Rd).
