“The Electoral College vs. The Popular Vote” will be examined in a presentation by Charles Biles. Pros and cons along with peculiarities of the electoral process with which we elect the president will be discussed by the Humboldt State professor emeritus in math at a North Coast Mensa public forum Oct. 28. Biles became interested in American history after he retired from teaching in 2005. He took history classes, studying the electoral process and apportionment of the U. S. House. Currently, he offers presentations on the electoral process to various groups. The forum begins at noon Saturday (Oct, 28) at the Samoa Cookhouse. Lunch is no-host.
