Come join us for an electric vehicle parade, expo, and holiday tree lighting on Saturday, November 30, starting at 1p.m. at the Blue Lake Casino and Hotel! Want your electric vehicle to be in the holiday parade? Register here: https://bluelakerancheria-nsn.gov/holidays-in-space/ Show your creativity decorating your EV! Don’t know where to start?… We will have staff at the event with decorations to help. The event is a chance to learn about low carbon transportation and financial incentives. We hope to see you there! Schedule: 1:00 p.m. Electric Transportation Expo The expo will take place in the Sapphire Palace and parking lot. Demos, incentives, ride and drives, and more! 5:30 p.m. Electric Vehicle Parade Decorate your electric-powered vehicles and drive/ride in the parade. Electric cars, homemade contraptions, retrofits, e-bikes, golf carts, motorcycles, and more are welcome (but sorry, no gas/electric hybrids). Lights, music, and any other electric vehicle decorations are limited only by your imagination, but must be electric or people-powered, no emissions! 7 p.m. Award Ceremony and Holiday Tree Lighting. Prizes will be awarded in various categories. There will be a special holiday tree lighting in Blue Lake Hotel’s lobby.
