A Midsummer’s Daydream
Plays in the Park is thrilled to bring you, A Midsummer’s Daydream, by Jonathan Moreno. This original children’s musical by a Humboldt County author, began its development last year during Plays in the Park’s new works festival.
The play takes us on an adventure with several forest creatures who live in Redwood Park. Unlikely best friends, Fox and Chicken, wind up on a mission to find their lost store of winter food. In order to succeed in their quest they must find a book written by Fox’s mother, but she passed away a few years ago, and no one can remember who had it last! Was it lost in the great forest fire that took so many of the creature’s homes? Or perhaps it is still in the forest somewhere? Find out Saturdays and Sundays at 2pm, August 3th - 25th in Redwood Park!
