Environmental Educator Training

Do you enjoy sharing nature with kids? Are you interested in learning more about coastal ecology and environmental education techniques? Become a Bay to Dunes volunteer! Volunteers are needed to lead groups of 3rd- to 6th-grade school students on field trips to the Humboldt Bay and coastal dunes. No experience necessary, full training is provided. Volunteers will gain valuable experience in leading groups of students in environmental education activities. Participants must be available on Fridays and must attend three training days on Friday, September 6, Saturday, September 7, and Friday, September 13 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Humboldt Coastal Nature Center, 220 Stamps Lane in Manila.
