Essential Cinema: Spaceballs!

Eureka Theater

Get your fill of Yogurt and Barf (IYKYK) at the historic Eureka Theater for a special edition of our Essential Cinema series. We are wrapping up the Forest Moon Festival and celebrating Mel Brooks’ 100th birthday (which happens in June) with a matinee screening of the greatest Star Wars parody ever made: SPACEBALLS.

See Bill Pullman as Lone Starr. John Candy as Barf. Rick Moranis as the magnificently mustachioed Dark Helmet. They’ve gone to plaid. They’ve wrestled Pizza the Hutt. And they’ve given us the immortal line, “What’s the matter, Colonel Sandurz? Chicken?”

It is stupid. It is brilliant. It is relentlessly quotable. And it demands to be seen on the biggest screen possible with a crowd that loves the absurd.

Doors open at 2:00 PM. Film starts at 2:30 PM.
Tickets:

10adults/5 children 12 and under.

Come for the raspberry jam. Stay for the 100-year-old punchlines.

Huge thanks to @forestmoonfestival for an incredible weekend. This is our wrap party, and you won’t want to miss it.

Sponsored by Redwood Coast Energy Authority and KEET TV.
