4TH OF JULY FESTIVAL – FULL OF FAMILY FUN!

Eureka, California – Eureka Main Street is planning a day full of family fun at the 4th of July Festival. The Eureka Main Street 4th of July Festival, is scheduled from 10a.m.-5 p.m. on Thursday, July 4th in historic Old Town, Eureka. The festival spans five city blocks along Second Street. Vendor booths will feature a wide variety of foods, crafts, commercial items, fine art and community groups getting the word out about their organizations. There will be classic cars, kids activities, fire trucks, police cars, horse & carriage rides, speeder card rides (1st & E Street), Madaket Bay Cruises and much more. No dogs or smoking, please.

Live music will be featured on three stages. This year’s music line-up is Eureka Main Street Stage

• 10:00 am – Band-O-Loko
• 1:00 pm – Jim Lahman Band
• 3:00 pm – Undercovers Mantova’s Two Street Music Stage
• 10:00 am – Ghost Train
• 1:00 pm – John David Young Conspiracy
• 3:00 pm – Lizzy and the Moonbeams Clarke Plaza
• 2:00 pm – Scotia Band

The Eureka Main Street 4th of July Festival sponsored by: the City of Eureka, Recology, The Eureka Rescue Mission, Nilsen Company, Hagadone Directories.

Since the 4th of July falls on a Thursday this year there will also be a Summer Concert at Madaket Plaza. Clean Sweep (R & B/Funk) will perform from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. Dance the evening away while you wait for the fireworks to begin at 10 p.m. over Humboldt Bay.

Donations for the fireworks show are welcome. Checks can be mailed to City of Eureka, Attn: Firework Fund, 531 K Street, Eureka, CA 95501 or cash donations can be dropped of at City Hall in Room 208.

Please remember NO \FIREWORKS OF ANY KIND are permitted in Old Town, and the laws will be strictly enforced. We want to keep this a safe and fun holiday for everyone.
