Eureka MARE Open House

As you read this, we are hard at work off our north coast on the final leg of our 2015 field season. Using an unmanned robotic submarine, we are filming the deep sea life found in the most rugged parts of California’s ocean waters. This is exciting work and our Eureka Office would like to invite you to meet our team dockside for a tour of the research vessel, Miss Linda, and our robotic submarine, the ROV Beagle. Afterwards there will be a wine and cheese reception at our nearby office, where you can come see some of the incredible imagery we’ve collected off our unexplored coast. The Miss Linda will be tied up and ready for boarding from 4-6 pm tomorrow, Tuesday, October 20th at the Bonnie Gool dock (right next door to the Adorni Center in Eureka). After exploring the vessel and robotics, you’re welcome to come indoors and warm up just a few minutes down the road at our Old Town office: 321 3rd Street, Eureka, CA.
