Evaluation Day/Rummage Sale

Clarke Historical Museum

The museum will be hosting a Native American basket and related Native American objects evaluation day, led by Coleen Kelley Marks and Bruce Pettit, who will be providing informal appraisals (verbal approximation of value, not formal insurance evaluation) for $15 per item in the Nealis Hall wing of the museum. At the same time, a rummage sale of museum quality items will be held in the main hall. Items included in the sale are pottery, baskets, and art prints, as well as antique books, toys, tools, utensils, and more. All items being sold were either nonessential items that have been deaccessioned or items that were donated to the museum with the express purpose of fund-raising. Proceeds from the event go toward the day-to-day operations of the museum. The basket evaluation event will be taking part in the Nealis Hall annex, while the rummage sale will be held in the main portion of the museum, to the left of the sign-in desk in the lobby as you enter the museum.
