Evening Lecture about Humboldt’s Flying Squirrel
Learn about the newest mammalian species discovered in North America, the Humboldt’s Flying Squirrel. Genetic tests have revealed that there is now a third species of flying squirrel living in the Americas including the coast redwood forests of Humboldt County. Evolutionary biologist, Nick Kerhoulas will give us an overview of flying squirrels focusing on the newly released data. Join us! Donations are appreciated.
