Exploring the Night Sky with Mark Bailey

Lost Coast Education Center and Garden

Join local astronomer and science educator, Mark Bailey, for Exploring the Night Sky on Saturday, June 8 at the Lost Coast Education Center in Whitethorn. Presented by Friends of the Lost Coast, this free event offers an opportunity to learn about the moon, stars and celestial phenomena, with multiple telescopes available for public viewing. The evening also features the unveiling of a 13-inch Dobsonian telescope Mark donated to the Lost Coast Education Center. The event runs 8pm to 11pm with desserts and refreshments available.
