Once Upon a Time… A Fairytale Festival Arrives in Southern Humboldt
Garberville, CA — Step into a world of enchantment as Open Horizons proudly presents the Fairytale Festival on Saturday, June 7, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Southern Humboldt Community Park in Garberville.

This all-ages community celebration invites families, friends, and fantasy lovers to enjoy an afternoon filled with whimsical fun and magical surprises.
Daytime activities include:

kids’ area featuring crafts, games, and face painting

Mystical food options and a full-service bar

A curated collection of artisanal vendors

Live, themed entertainment for all ages

A mechanical unicorn ride (additional fee applies)

Tickets are $10 per person, or $50 for groups of five. Children aged 5 and under are free.

Fairytale Fantasy After Hours (21+)
At 8:00 PM, the festivities continue with Fairytale Fantasy After Hours—a 21+ ticketed show that promises bold performances and grown-up enchantment. Attendees can expect surprises that blend fantasy with flair, all under the Humboldt twilight.

Tickets for the after-hours show are $25 per person.
This one-of-a-kind event is a celebration of creativity, community, and imagination—whether you arrive in fairy wings, medieval armor, or festival attire, you’ll be welcomed into a realm where anything is possible.

The Fairytale Festival is presented by Open Horizons, a local organization committed to bringing joyful, inclusive events to Southern Humboldt.
