Fall Dance with Kenny Ray and the Mighty Rovers

The Bayside Community Hall and Kenny Ray & the Mighty Rovers invite you to join us for an all ages Fall Dance on Saturday, October 14th, at the Bayside Community Hall, corner of Jacoby Creek and Old Arcata Roads. Doors open at 6:00 p.m. with beverages, dinner, and snacks available for purchase, music starts at 7:00 p.m. Admission is $8.00, $5.00 for students, kids under 12 years of age free. It’s a benefit for the Bayside Community Hall, which is celebrating 85 years of serving the community this fall with a line up of fun events including our upcoming Fall Harvest Breakfast! Doors open at 6:00 p.m. with food for purchase ready for the hungry, music starts at 7:00 p.m. Kenny Ray & the Mighty Rovers will entertain, and the good folks at the Hall will tickle your taste buds with tasty treats for purchase. Admission is $8.00, $5.00 for students, kids under 12 years of age free.

Kenny Ray and the Mighty Rovers are passionate about toe tappin’ dance music from the 1930’s and into the 60’s. They play Roots Country, Honky Tonk and Big Band Swing that will entice you to frolic the night away.

 

 

Along with Kenny Ray (Ken Jorgenson) on Flat Top Guitar and Vocals the Mighty Rovers include: Brooks Otis: Pedal Steel, Clarinet, and Saxophone; Darren Weiss: Electric 5 String Tenor Guitar; Errol Previde: Hollow Body Electric Guitar; Gina Jorgenson: Rhythm Guitar and Vocals; Maria McFarlin: Stand Up Bass.

 

 

Fine wine, beer and other beverages, along with fresh good grub (dinner and desserts), will be available for purchase for your enjoyment.

 

 

Please bring your own cups, mugs, glasses (i.e., pint mason jars) if possible, to help us keep moving towards our goal of Zero Waste events.
