Autumn is a perfect time for planting and on Sunday, October 18, Friends of the Lost Coast is hosting its second Garden Celebration & Native Plant Sale of the fall season at the Lost Coast Nature Center- 768 Shelter Cove Rd in Whitethorn. A wide selection of flowering native annuals, perennials, shrubs, trees and grasses is available– plus expert advice, garden tours, kid’s activities, and more! It’s happening Sunday, October 18 from 10am-3pm and is the best opportunity in Southern Humboldt to stock up on native plants for your garden.
