Autumn is a perfect time for planting – and on Sunday, September 20, Friends of the Lost Coast is hosting the first Native Plant Sale & Garden Celebration of the fall season at the Lost Coast Nature Center - 768 Shelter Cove Rd in Whitethorn. A wide selection of flowering native annuals, perennials, shrubs, trees and grasses is available – plus expert advice, garden tours, live music, kid’s activities, and more! It’s happening Sunday, September 20 from 10am-3pm – and is the best opportunity in Southern Humboldt to stock up on native plants for your garden.
