Family Grass Grab

Humboldt Coastal Nature Center

Join Friends of the Dunes for a Family Grass Grab on Saturday, May 9 from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Humboldt Coastal Nature Center, 220 Stamps Lane in Manila. Participants of all ages will be removing easy to pull invasive annual grasses around the Nature Center, and will go on a Quest to the beach to learn about the dune ecosystem. Families will also receive a Nature Adventures Passport, and learn the answer to the eight clues inside. Please dress for the weather and bring water, snacks will be provided.
