Farm to School Docent Orientation

Volunteers needed to help lead farm field trips at DeepSeeded Community Farm and Shakefork Community Farm for 2-3rd graders this spring! As part of the Know Your Farmer program, these field trips help students develop a personal relationship with food and farming through hands-on activities that focus on science, agriculture, nutrition, social science, and more. Please attend the Farm to School Docent orientation on April 15th from 5-6 p.m. at the Greenway Building garden located at 1385 8th Street, Arcata. Trainings will be provided April 19 & 26. Field trips will run Wednesday and Thursday mornings in May.
