FRIDAY at 6 P.M.

February 2026 Science on Tap: Butterflies!

Mad River Brewery Tasting Room

Join us this Friday, February 27th, as we welcome Clint Pogue, a butterfly biologist and President of the Redwood chapter of the North American Butterfly Association (NABA-Redwood). Clint will share his fascinating research on how local communities impact invertebrates and what we can do to support these essential pollinators. We’re getting butterflies just thinking about it!

The presentation starts at 6 pm, but be sure to arrive early to snag a spot and enjoy a local brew from the Paskenta Mad River Brewery. We’ll see you there!

All donations help support the continuation of Science on Tap events and in-stream restoration projects organized by the Eel River Watershed Improvement Group (ERWIG).

It looks like there will be a chance of rain, so be sure to dress appropriately. The tent will be up. Please consider carpooling since parking is limited.

Science on Tap fosters collaboration among local advocates for natural resources. Let’s create a platform for sharing ideas and inspiring resilience in environmental restoration for generations to come. Join us in building an inclusive space that welcomes everyone into the environmental community, making knowledge accessible and enjoyable for all in a laid-back and fun setting. See you there!
