Finding Happiness: Walking the Bodhisattva Path
Humboldt Unitarian Universalist Fellowship
The Ancient Forest Sangha of Humboldt Bay invites you to a day of mindfulness in the tradition of Vietnamese Zen Master Thich Nhat Hanh. The day will include sitting and walking meditation, deep relaxation, and times of silence and sharing. Dharma teacher Alexa Singer-Telles will explore the four bodhisattva virtues: giving, kind speech, beneficial action, and cooperation. Bring a vegetarian lunch, mat, blanket, and sitting gear; chairs will be available. Suggested $20 donation, but no one turned away for lack of funds. Email us to register or obtain further information. Teacher Alexa Singer-Telles, LMFT, received transmission as a dharma teacher from Thich Nhat Hanh in 2014. Co-founder of the River Oak Sangha in Redding in 1991, she brings poetry, movement, and her delight for life to her teaching. “To share the spiritual path with those wanting to bring peace and joy to our troubled world is my great joy.”
