First Aid with Adult CPR/AED

Recreation and Wellness Center, HSU Campus

This 5-hour course gives individuals the knowledge and skills necessary to recognize and provide basic care for injuries and sudden illnesses until advanced medical personnel arrive. The course contents include how to recognize an emergency, learning how to care for breathing and cardiac emergencies for adults, including the use of Automated External Defibrillators (AED) and how to deal with sudden illnesses, wounds, and injuries to muscles, bones, and joints. Upon successful completion of the course, the participant will receive certification in First Aid and Adult CPR/AED.
