Food as Medicine Conference

Humboldt Bay Aquatic Center

The Humboldt Food Policy Council in partnership with United Indian Health Services, Inc. is excited to host the upcoming Food as Medicine Conference. The first convening of its kind on the North Coast, this event is open to all and designed with medical providers, nutrition and health educators, and food system advocates in mind. Participants will learn from and engage with diverse speakers addressing topics that center the importance of healthful, culturally-affirming, and appropriately produced foods as a key tool to achieving positive and equitable health outcomes.
