Forest Moon Festival

The Forest Moon Festival is a two-county wide festival that will feature Film Commission sponsored events (i.e. free screenings of the movie, Star Wars: Return Of The Jedi) as well as activities by participating local businesses, pop-ups, community partners, and more.

Creative minds all around the North Coast are invited to join in the fun, and will become participating destinations on our Promotional Festival Map, Event Calendar, and Other Marketing Collateral.

40 years ago the world was introduced to the Forest Moon of Endor, as the final battleground in the original Star War’s Trilogy. Our Coastal Redwoods set the scene as the location for those memorable battles between the Rebel Forces and the Imperial Empire. Since then, domestic and international tourists and fans have traveled to the North Coast of California to see the majestic home of the Ewoks.
