FRIDAY ~ FORTUNA RODEO GROUNDS 6:30 p.m. - 10:30 p.m. = Taste of the Harvest. Fortuna Kiwanis Presents their 2nd Annual Hard Cider Tasting! Tickets are $25 for unlimited hard cider, and $10 for sober drivers. All proceeds will benefit local non-profit Wild Souls Ranch: Equine Learning Center for At-Risk Youth. Enjoy your favorite hard ciders, live music and good food! This event is strictly 21 and over, no exception for babies. No dogs. Sober Shuttle will be available towards the end of the night. Purchase your tickets at Beverage Plus, Humboldt Cider Co., and Wildberries. SATURDAY ~ CLENDENEN’S CIDER WORKS, South 12th Street Noon to 1 p.m. = Scotia Band – Historic town band with a big sound 1 p.m. – 4 p.m. = “Falling Rocks” (Roots Country and Honkey-Tonk Swing) Clendenen’s Applewood Barbeque – Featuring “The Local Hamburger” and Big Dogs Orchard Hayrides – tour the apple orchard with a narrated tractor hayride Apple Tasting – taste new and vintage varieties from our orchard including Bellflower, Spitzenberg, Mutsu, and Jonagold REDWOOD VILLAGE 12 p.m. = Apple Harvest Rib Cookoff - 1st Annual Rib Cook-Off. The ribs must incorporate apples and you can get as creative as you want (apple wood, apple glaze, apple BBQ sauce, anything apple- get creative). Set-Up is at 9am, cooking til noon with judging and serving starting at 12pm. We are looking for craft and rib cook-off vendors. There is no cost for booth space this year.
