The 41st Annual Fortuna Apple Harvest Festival returns today, Saturday, October 3, 2026, transforming the entire town of Fortuna, California into a vibrant, family-friendly autumn wonderland. Originally dreamed up in 1985 by local orchardist Clif Clendenen and his family, this historic event celebrates the rich heritage, small-town charm, and agricultural abundance of the Eel River Valley. From 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, visitors can explore multiple festive hubs seamlessly connected by the free, courtesy People Mover shuttle transit.
