Free art workshop for children

Free workshop creating Artist Books with Marci Easterbrook at the library!

In this workshop, children 5-10 years old are invited to decorate paper with colorful paste and make a simple book to take home. Artist Marci Easterbrook will begin with an animal story about peace from Peace Tales.
Each child will enjoy art-making, assembling their book, and writing or talking about how we can all create peace in our world. Books will be displayed at Los Bagels at a later date.
Parents are welcome to help or watch! All supplies will be provided. Be prepared to get messy! Limited to 12 participants. This workshop is part of a series funded through a grant from the Women’s International League of Peace and Freedom.
