Free Community Game Night

The monthly Family Game Night at Dows Prairie Grange in McKinleyville is returning for 2026, starting on Saturday, January 31st. Doors open at 5 pm and community members of all ages are invited to play board games, card games, or D&D with new friends or old friends. For $10, participants can buy a slice of pizza, chips, and homemade cookie for dinner. Proceeds from raffle prizes will benefit Dandar’s Boardgames and Books, a frequent supporter of the Grange Game Nights and one of the victims of the tragic Arcata downtown fire. The event runs until 10 pm. Dows Prairie Grange #505 is located at 3995 Dows Prairie Road in McKinleyville. Participants who bring non-perishable food for the Grange food basket program get a free raffle ticket. Game Night takes place the last Saturday of each month through October.
