Free Kids Fishing Derby

This event will be held Saturday May 14, 2022 at the Ruth Lake Marina (8990 Mad River Road, Mad River, CA 95552) from 8AM-12PM. for children up to 15 years of age. Fishing to be done from the marina grounds, not from any water craft/device. This is an outdoor family event, all children must be accompanied by an adult. Remember to bring your own fishing pole. Fishing for trout, bass, crappie and bluegill. The official registration form is available on the RLCSD website https://www.ruthlakecsd.org/kids-free-fishing-derby-may-14-2022/. We greatly appreciate pre registration but if you can’t manage to do so, please show up half hour or so early for the event to ensure we can start fishing at 8am. There will be a hot dog feed to follow the derby located in the marina parking lot. Prizes and announcements for winners will be done during the hot dog feed.
