Free: Test Your Household Items for Lead Event!
Bring up to three household items to be tested. The Humboldt County DHHS - Childhood Lead Poisoning Prevention Program (CLPPP) will be offering free testing of household items for lead. We can measure the amount of lead in painted items like paint chips from pre-1978 homes, toys, & small furniture. We can test for the presence of lead in dishware, imported items, toys, & antiques. Look for our booth near Redwood Capital Bank during the last Henderson Center Farmers' Market of the year. Se habla español.
