Freshwater Creek Restoration Volunteer Event

Freshwater Farms Reserve

Rain or shine, join us Saturday, March 9th for a public volunteer restoration event at Freshwater Farms Reserve with the California Conservation Corps/Americorps Watershed Stewards Program and Northcoast Regional Land Trust. During the event, volunteers will work together to improve salmon habitat along Freshwater Slough and maintain a public hiking trail. Our goals for the event are to remove invasive plant species and plant riparian species adjacent to Freshwater Creek. Coffee and a snack bar will be available for volunteers, as well as a FREE raffle at the end of the event!
