Freshwater Farms Reserve Volunteer Restoration Day

The Northcoast Regional Land Trust (NRLT) is partnering with the Watershed Stewards Program for this fun day of native planting, invasive plant removal and more! The workday will help prepare the property for NRLT’s next major project: a historic barn rehabilitation, and native plant nursery refurbishment that will break ground late this spring. A portion of the workday will also focus on maintaining the new trail that was recently installed on the property. These projects will enhance the working lands component of Freshwater Farms Reserve, as well as highlight the community access we are encouraging via the Freshwater Nature Trail. We welcome you to join us out on the land for a sneak peek of the historic and new amenities, before the Freshwater Nature Trail opens to the public on May 1st.
