Join the Americorps Watershed Stewards Program, the Bureau of Land Management, and the Northcoast Regional Land Trust for a morning of environmental restoration & stewardship along a salmon-bearing stream at Freshwater Farms Reserve!

Help remove invasive plants and replace them with native willows. Explore the restored tidal wetland, and learn about this special place! This will support the salmon habitat at Freshwater Slough, and in the tidal wetland of Wood Creek, with ripple effects that improve wildlife habitat overall and beautify this public hiking trail.

Free coffee, tea, water, and snacks! All ages, abilities, and experience levels are welcome. All tools, safety equipment, and any training needed will be provided.

This event is a great opportunity to get outside with the whole family!
