Friday Night at the Refuge: “Dune the Work: Wadulh Dunes Restoration Project Overview”
Humboldt Bay National Wildlife Refuge
The Salmon Creek Unit will stay open until 8pm. Come for a walk along the Shorebird Loop Trail during the evening hours. At 7pm at the Visitor Center welcome Verenice Sanchez for “Dune the Work: Wadulh Dunes Restoration Project Overview” and learn about this exciting, innovative, and ongoing endeavor to restore and enhance over 300 acres of coastal dunes that were overtaken by invasive plant species.
