From Wounded Knee to Standing Rock

All are invited to attend a free showing of the acclaimed documentary film “From Wounded Knee to Standing Rock” at 6pm on Friday, July 14 at Cal Poly Humboldt’s Van Duzer Theatre. Produced by former NPR and ABC News reporter/producer, Kevin McKiernan, the film features Yurok activist Willard Carlson’s participation in the historic occupations. Willard and many other Northern California Indians put their lives on the line at Wounded Knee and Standing Rock to change the course of history across Indian Country.
