In this interactive discussion and workshop, host Amanda Malachesky, Functional Nutrition and Lifestyle Practitioner will share: * What IS Functional Medicine, who is it for, and how can it support your patients, clients, or personal health. * The two Functional clinical tools that allow better practitioner collaboration, and help you more easily help your patients or clients find the root causes of their health complaints. We will screen a brief video presentation of highlights from Institute for Functional Medicine’s premier introductory course: Applying Functional Medicine in Clinical Practice (AFMCP), and do some hands-on practice with the timeline and matrix. The Functional Forum is a nation and worldwide network of local meetups. Their mission is to help evolve humankind beyond chronic disease by empowering health professionals to evolve medicine in their respective communities throughout the world. This event is open to the public, and especially to health care providers of any stripe who want to encourage better patient outcomes.
