Fused Snowflake Ornament Workshop
Join us for some holiday cheer while making a one of a kind snowflake ornament on December 13th from 3-6pm.
Our resident metalsmith, Erin Austin, will guide you through fusing copper and silver, refining the edges with files and sandpaper, creating a hook, and finishing with patina.
All supplies included.
Students must be 18 years or older.
To use the studio you must:
Sign a Liability Waiver
Wear closed toed shoes
Wear appropriate eye protection
Wear splash goggles when using the soldering area
Note: 1 pair is available in the studio at the soldering station. If you would like your own pair please bring them.
Tie back long hair
Secure loose clothing
Follow all posted Studio rules
Follow directions from instructor and/or studio monitors
We also highly suggest wearing natural fibers like cotton, hemp, etc. Synthetic fibers contain plastic that may melt onto your skin if they come into contact with heat!
