Seattle’s Geist & The Sacred Ensemble will be appearing live on Arcata’s newest radio station Humboldt Hot Air! Tune in Wednesday, November 1st, from 10pm-Midnight for the Difficult Listening Hours, hosted by Oryan Peterson-Jones. Geist & The Sacred Ensemble will share some stories, some new and old recorded material, and even perform some acoustic numbers live on-air!

About the show:
Welcome to the revival of Oryan Peterson-Jones’ longtime running radio program, the Difficult Listening Hours, every Wednesday night from 10-midnight. The Difficult Listening Hours premiered on KRFH from 1999 to 2003, moved to KZME from 2011 to 2014, and may now be heard on Humboldt Hot Air! Tune in for an eclectic mix of dusty field recordings, outsider folk, Kosmische, Tropicália, free jazz, primitive psychedelia, and experimental sounds from across the globe, emphasizing (but never limited to) artists with ties to the Pacific Northwest.
